1. The service
Proofweld is workflow software for capturing quality cases, evidence, ownership, review, and corrective-action history. Features, plan limits, and pricing are described on the applicable pricing page, checkout screen, or written order form.
We may improve, update, or discontinue parts of the service over time. Material changes to an agreed paid service will be handled in a commercially reasonable way and do not change the terms of a separate written agreement that controls your account.
2. Accounts and acceptable use
Keep account credentials confidential, use accurate account information, and promptly tell us about suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity under your account and for choosing permissions appropriate to your team.
- Do not use Proofweld to break the law or violate another person’s rights.
- Do not probe, disrupt, overload, or attempt to bypass service security.
- Do not upload malware or content you do not have the right to use.
- Do not use AI-assisted output as a way to avoid required human review.
3. Your responsibilities and content
You decide what information to enter, who can access it, and whether it is appropriate for the service. You must have the permissions needed to submit customer, supplier, employee, technical, or other information in your workspace.
You retain your rights in content you submit. You give Proofweld the limited permission needed to host, process, display, back up, and transmit that content to provide and secure the service. You are responsible for reviewing records for accuracy and retaining any copy you need for your own business purposes.
4. Intellectual property
Proofweld, its software, branding, documentation, and service design belong to Proofweld or its licensors. These terms grant a limited right to use the service during your authorized subscription; they do not transfer ownership or grant a license to copy, resell, or reverse engineer it.
Feedback is welcome. You allow us to use feedback to improve the service without creating an obligation to you, provided we do not identify you publicly without your permission.
5. Payments and third-party services
Paid plans are billed in USD on a recurring monthly basis unless a written order form says otherwise. Checkout is hosted by our payment provider. The amount, plan, and renewal details shown at checkout apply to that purchase. See the Refund & Cancellation Policy for cancellation and refund terms.
Proofweld may rely on hosting, authentication, email, analytics, AI, payment, and other service providers. Their services may have separate terms, availability, or privacy practices. We are not responsible for a third-party service that is outside our control.
6. Disclaimers
Proofweld is provided as workflow software. It is not legal, regulatory, engineering, medical, safety, certification, or other professional advice, and it does not replace your procedures, qualified personnel, or required approvals. Review the Proofweld Business & AI Disclaimers before relying on the service or its outputs.
To the extent permitted by law, we do not promise that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every use case. No statement on the website is a guarantee of a particular quality, compliance, cost, or business outcome.
7. Suspension, termination, and liability
We may suspend or limit access when reasonably necessary to protect the service, comply with law, address nonpayment, or respond to a material breach. You may stop using a paid plan under the cancellation terms.
To the extent permitted by law, Proofweld will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages arising from use of the service. Any applicable liability cap or remedy in a written agreement controls. No limitation applies where applicable law prohibits it.
8. Governing terms and changes
If an order form or other written agreement with Proofweld includes governing-law, venue, dispute, security, or service-specific terms, those terms control where they conflict with this page. No specific jurisdiction is designated here without that written agreement.
We may update these terms by posting a revised version with a new effective date. Your continued use after an update means the revised terms apply prospectively. If a change is material to a paid service, we will use a reasonable notice method where appropriate.
