1. Workflow software, not professional advice
Proofweld is software for organizing manufacturing and quality workflows, evidence, ownership, and corrective-action records. It is not legal, regulatory, engineering, medical, safety, certification, audit, or compliance advice.
Proofweld does not determine whether a product, process, facility, or record meets a law, standard, customer requirement, certification scheme, or internal control. Engage qualified professionals and follow the procedures, approvals, and controls that apply to your organization and industry.
2. QualityCopilot is draft assistance
QualityCopilot uses AI to produce probabilistic draft assistance from the quality-case information made available to it. It may be incomplete, incorrect, outdated, or not applicable to the specific situation. A fluent answer is not evidence that an answer is true.
- Verify every suggested fact, cause, measurement, and next step against evidence.
- Edit, reject, or replace suggestions before they become part of your work product.
- Do not treat a draft as a finding, approval, certification, or completed investigation.
- Do not submit confidential information unless your organization has authorized it.
3. Safety-critical and regulated decisions
AI output must not be the sole basis for safety-critical, medical, environmental, regulatory, certification, release, recall, or other high-consequence decisions. Use qualified human review, validated methods, authoritative source material, and your organization’s required sign-off process.
You are responsible for deciding whether a workflow is appropriate for your sector, jurisdiction, customer contract, quality system, and risk profile. Proofweld does not guarantee compliance, defect detection, root-cause accuracy, or a particular business result.
4. Evidence and customer decisions
The quality of a record depends on the information your team supplies and the care used to review it. Missing context, poor measurements, ambiguous language, or incorrect attachments can produce an incomplete or misleading workflow record.
Your organization retains responsibility for containment, disposition, corrective and preventive action, customer communication, reporting, and any decision to ship, release, accept, reject, or close a case.
5. No guaranteed outcome
Proofweld is intended to improve visibility and accountability, not to promise a specific reduction in defects, audit findings, cost, customer complaints, or investigation time. Results depend on your people, process, evidence, configuration, and decisions.
